Master Bathroom Renovation – Contemporary Luxury

This renovation was conceived to transform daily routines into a resort-style experience, maximizing natural light, visual openness, and functionality while maintaining a sophisticated and exclusive design character.

Design and Structural Enhancements

The original bathroom felt enclosed and lacked spatial flow. To open the room, black marble surfaces with white veining were integrated, and unnecessary dividing elements were removed, allowing natural light and sightlines to flow freely. The new design establishes a seamless transition between the vanity, shower, and bathtub areas, creating a harmonious and expansive space.

Functional details such as custom wooden cabinetry with discreet storage and integrated countertop seating were added, providing comfort without sacrificing aesthetics.

Shower Design

The walk-in shower becomes a focal point, wrapped in black marble with contrasting veining and enclosed by a frameless glass partition. Dark-finished hardware adds a contemporary and elegant touch, while the contrast with the light flooring creates visual balance. The transparency of the glass amplifies the sense of openness and connects the shower with the rest of the space.

Freestanding Bathtub Feature

The freestanding bathtub, with its glossy finish and sculptural lines, is positioned against the marble wall illuminated with warm lighting, becoming the centerpiece of the bathroom. Its placement near the window with exterior views and ambient lighting creates a spa-like experience at home, perfect for both relaxation and architectural impact.

Vanity and Custom Cabinetry

The vanity combines natural wood with a black marble countertop, achieving a sophisticated contrast. Dark-finished handles reinforce the contemporary aesthetic, while the large framed mirror enhances brightness and amplifies the sense of space. The layout provides generous storage while maintaining a clean and elegant profile.

Mirrors and Lighting

Indirect lighting integrated into shelving and ceiling envelops the space in a warm, relaxing glow. Large-format mirrors and decorative accents such as plants and crisp white textiles add freshness and soften the dark palette. Each lighting layer is designed to enhance both functionality and architectural drama.

Flooring and Finishes

The floor, finished in light gray porcelain tile with a subtly patterned rug, adds texture and warmth, balancing the strength of the black marble. Every material selection—from surfaces to accessories—was carefully chosen to create a cohesive, modern, and inviting atmosphere.
