Roofing Estimator Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Estimator / In-Home Sales Consultant to join our team. You will meet with homeowners who have requested roofing estimates, assess their needs, and provide professional solutions. This is a commission-based opportunity perfect for sales professionals who want to control their income!
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home consultations with pre-qualified homeowners
- Inspect roofs and identify issues, damage, or areas needing repair/replacement
- Provide detailed estimates for roofing projects
- Present roofing material options and design choices
- Close sales and achieve company sales targets
- Coordinate with installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay current on roofing materials, techniques, and building codes
Candidate Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside sales or roofing experience preferred
- Ability to climb ladders and inspect roofs safely
- Strong closing skills and sales-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Computer proficiency for estimates and documentation
Compensation & Benefits
This job is fully commission based!
💰 Commission: 8%-10% sales commission with 5% up front and 5% upon completion of the project
