Kitchen & Bath Sales Representative Job Summary

THIS POSITION IS FOR EXPERIENCED IN-HOME SALES REPRESENTATIVES ONLY!

We are looking for consultants/estimators who know how to close the deal, are goal-oriented, and have at least 2-3 years of experience in in-home sales.

This is an outside sales position, and you will provide free in-home consultations and estimates to homeowners. Each customer appointment is pre-screened, scheduled, and confirmed in advance of the in-home visit (this is not door-to-door sales – homeowners have made contact with our company, requesting an estimate on our Home Improvement Services/Products).

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with customers in their homes to estimate the costs of their kitchen, bathroom/shower, and full home remodeling projects
• Provide guidance and respond to customers' questions regarding their home renovation projects
• Drive sales performance to meet company sales objectives
• Utilize computer skills to input data gathered during estimates
• Provide an interactive presentation to consumers in the convenience of their own homes

Candidate Qualities and Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years prior PROVEN experience selling interior residential home improvement projects
• Position requires extensive local market area travel with the use of a personal vehicle
• Must have valid driver's license and carry required level of automobile insurance
• Strong in-home sales background in the construction industry
• Construction knowledge and experience with siding or residential remodel
• High level of professionalism in dealing with clients and team members
• Must pass an extensive background check and have clean criminal record
• Excellent verbal, social, and written communication skills
• Must be computer proficient (emails, text, Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Ability to make measurements, basic drawings, and produce shopping lists for clients
• High school graduate or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling Kitchen Remodels, Shower Remodels, Bathroom Remodels, Wet Area Upgrades, or Cabinetry
• Working knowledge of Chief Architect or 2020 Design (preferred but not required)
• Experience in kitchen, bathroom, and full home construction
• Able to work 6 days/week, mornings and evenings

Compensation & Benefits

This job is fully commission based!

💰 Commission: 8%-10% sales commission with 5% up front and 5% upon completion of the project
